Many of you have already taken a look at the new Mobile Upgrade of Churchteams. Thanks for the great feedback and comments. It is more streamlined and efficient than the classic view. It is still in beta which means certain parts of the tool still reflect the classic look. Check-in, contributions, reports and browse groups are the main features yet to be upgraded. We'll release these as they are finished in the upcoming months.
However, NEXT TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, WE ARE GOING TO SWITCH OVER ALL MEETING REPORTS that your leaders fill out from their email reminders to the new view. That means EVERY ONE OF YOUR LEADERS FILLING OUT MEETING REPORTS WILL SEE A DIFFERENT VIEW AFTER THEY CLICK AN OPTION ON THE EMAIL REMINDERS.
The content of the meeting report will be exactly the same, the layout is a little different and it will automatically resize for those doing their report from a mobile phone or tablet. It will be very intuitive for them to do and we don't expect any problems with it. However, we thought you might want to give them heads up, so here are pictures and some text you can send to your leaders if you would like to copy, paste and edit them.
Dear Small Group Leader,
We are excited to tell you about the new upgrade to the meeting reports you fill out every week. Beginning next Tuesday, February 12th, when you click on one of the options in your reminder email you will see the same information just a different layout to the report form. This new layout is completely optimized for mobile. That will make it easier for you to fill out the report on your smart phone or tablet. You shouldn't have any problem with it, but we wanted to give you a heads up so that you won't be surprised when you see it.
Because the Mobile Upgrade view is still in beta, you may find some things that don't quite seem right in spite of all our testing. If you do, send us an email to alert us. You will be helping us and everyone else when you do. We are constantly working to simplify the tool and your input is very important to that process.
