Member attributes, notes & follow-up

We released a name change for “Contacts” to “Notes” this afternoon. Notes better describes the purpose of this feature and distinguishes it from membership attributes.

Membership attributes tend to identify or benchmark attributes (marital status, birthdate, first visit, date joined church, spiritual gifts, social media / blog, etc.).

Notes are open ended and tend to comment or connect. For example:

These four have been set as the defaults for new clients. If you are a current client and want to review and customize Notes, click Customization features, then Customize Groupfinder, then Note types.

Follow-up videos better showing and telling the follow-up story will be forthcoming.

  • Guest notes provide a place to capture things like who invited them to church, who called them for follow up and when, follow-up details regarding joining the church;
  • Coach/leader notes capture interactions between coach and leaders;
  • Prayer requests;
  • Prayer answers.
