New Release:  Contribution Batch History
We just rolled out the first step toward our integrated online giving solution.  It is a batch identifier feature within contributions.  For those of you using contributions, you will see that you you can assign a name to a batch as part of the default setup process.  Then, when you click end batch the tool asks you if you want to completely close the batch or leave it open.  If you completely close the batch, then you can no longer enter any other contributions for that batch.  If you choose to leave the batch open, you'll be asked whether you want to stay on the page or leave it.  If you choose to leave the page, then you can come back to edit, add to or complete the open batch by clicking on the new link on the Membership Admin Main Menu called "Contribution Batch History" and selecting the open batch.  You will also see on that page a full history of contribution batches for future reference.   This feature will apply to all the batches you do from this point forward whether you assign them a name or not.  Here's a snapshot of the batch history page.
