How to Export Church Windows Information to a CSV File for importing into Churchteams
  • Decide what information you would like to export.  Include all member information you want to import into Churchteams.
  • Access Church Windows© using your account authorization
  • Access the information desired (e.g., the ‘Contact List’ in the ‘Membership’ area)
  • To Generate an Export File (CSV or Tab Delimited):
  • Click on the ‘Print’ button
  • Tailor the desired information in the top part of the ‘Report Format’ screen
  • Select the ‘Mail merge/Export’ button; from the associated pull-down menu either select an existing format, or Click on the ‘New+’ button; on the ‘Mail Merge/Export’ window
  • Enter a Title for the Report (for example Churchteams Export)
  • Enter the Export File, File Name and enter the name of the file to create (Note you can click on the small box to the right and browse to the location to save the file or allow it to default to the CW directory)
  • On the ‘Separate Fields with: ‘ pull-down select ‘Comma’
  • In the lower-center select the items from the left you wish to export and Click ‘Add >’ to move them to the right (alternatively you can select ‘Add all >>’ to export all information
  • Click ‘OK’
  • Back on the ‘Report Format’ window Click ‘Next’ 
  • When the print ready version of the report appears the export file has been created at the identified location.
  • You may wish to review the print ready version to ensure it contains the information desired, but you will not want to print this version
  • At this point you can close Church Windows© and retrieve the created file from the saved location.
  • Login to Churchteams as the admin and click the Settings menu (upper right) and then Members / Import/Load to import the file into Churchteams.
