    Description:We are a couples group ranging from late 20's to older, with and without children. This semester we will use the Bible Study "scouting the divine" by Margaret Feinberg as a means to explore "how ancient livelihoods illuminate meaningful Christian truths that apply to life today." In her book "scouting the divine," Feinberg researches the lives of a shepherd, farmer, beekeeper, and vintner to enhance hers and our understanding of these many references in Scripture. (Childcare to be provided, cost shared among the group members with children)

    Description:We are starting a brand new couples group in Flowery Branch. We are a couple in our mid-30's that has been attending 12Stone going on five years. All couples are welcome. We will start off following the 12Stone sermon series, beginning in September and then choose a bible based study to finish off the semester. Please join us on Thursday nights from 7:00-8:30PM. How do you defend your faith? How do you explain to your kids the differences and why Christianity is the only way to heaven? We will look at cults and religions. How they diverge from the truth of Christianity and how to face these challenges head on.

We will be going through the DVD series from Mark Gungor called "Laughing Your Way to a Better Marriage", including the "Tale of Two Brains" series and "How to Stay Married and Not Kill Anybody". You will laugh till you cry as we seek to understand God's plan for us in marriage and family.     Description:(Located 1 mile from Spout Springs Kroger near Chateau Elan Winery). GREATLY WANTED: Those couples to form a group who are “late 30 to 50 somethings without kids or with kids in High School and / or College” who like to socialize and can relate to the issues of life that impact us daily. We will have desserts, music, friendship, and God’s abounding love to revive us each week. We will begin with the "Gripped By The Greatness Of God" DVD series, and then the group that forms can chose other topics to complete the semester if desired. Please note the cost of the FPU materials (lifetime membership kit) is $93 per family unit. The materials will be available at the first meeting. Please have your payment ready and checks made out to 12Stone. Childcare is not provided.
